2026 Legislative Sessions Are Coming. Are You Ready?

Charleston, South Carolina — Push Digital Group (PDG), a national leader in political strategy and digital innovation, today announced that Founding Partner Wesley Donehue has sold his portion of the company to business partner Scott Howell and has left the company to focus on a new endeavor. Howell, who has been a leading media strategist in Republican politics for over 30 years and a part-owner of PDG for nearly 15 years, will assume full ownership of the company. Managing Partner Phil Vangelakos, Chief Operating Officer Scott Farmer, and the entire leadership team will continue in their roles as the team builds on PDG’s strong foundation and continued growth trajectory.
The transition represents a natural evolution for Push Digital Group, which has grown from a scrappy startup into a comprehensive digital powerhouse serving campaigns, causes, and public affairs clients nationwide through its portfolio of companies: Push Digital (Advertising), Drive Public Affairs (Advocacy), Campaign Solutions (Fundraising), and Right Country Lists (Data).
“When I started Push, the goal was simple: build something real. Build something that mattered. Build something that could outlast me,” said Donehue. “And we did that. But I also built it knowing I’d one day walk away. That this wasn’t forever. That day is today.”
“I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together — from revolutionizing political digital advertising to building a national presence in this industry. Scott Howell, Phil Vangelakos, Scott Farmer, and our exceptional team are positioned to take PDG to even greater heights, and I couldn’t be more excited to watch them continue this journey.”
Under Donehue’s leadership, PDG has consistently pushed the boundaries of political digital strategy. His vision transformed the company from a regional player into a national force that has shaped countless successful campaigns and causes across America.
“Wesley has helped us build something truly special,” said Howell. “His entrepreneurial spirit, innovative mindset, and unrelenting commitment to our clients helped us build one of the largest digital companies in Republican politics. We honor his incredible dedication, energy, and vision of the digital future. With our incredible team, we’re excited to build on Wesley’s legacy while exploring new opportunities to serve our clients and advance causes across America.”
“What makes Push Digital Group special isn’t just our technology or our results — it’s our people,” said Vangelakos. “Wesley helped assemble an incredible team of leaders, strategists, creators, and innovators who are passionate about what we do. That culture of excellence and innovation will continue to drive our success as we move forward.”
The transition will be seamless for all current and future clients, with no changes to PDG’s comprehensive service offerings or commitment to delivering cutting-edge digital solutions. Push Digital Group remains dedicated to empowering America-first campaigns and cause-driven organizations with the tools, strategy, and innovation needed to succeed in an increasingly complex digital landscape.
